Welcome to our town and district, which covers the area of 16350 hectars, and has population of about 13 thousand. Its situation between Białystok and the Narew National park creates perfect conditions for tourism development, as well as agriculture, food farming industry, craft and services. Well developed infrastructure and the new plan of its further evolution help to achieve the aims.
Modern Choroszcz not only has historical monuments, like Branickis park and palace, 18th century Dominican monastery, but also numerous new structures. They were created recently thanks to local community efforts, for instance: a nursery school, a secondary school, a new sewerage system with water purification station.
Fresh air, beautiful nature, many monuments of the past times as wellv as friendly inhabitants - those are the features which make the region unique. Inviting cultural events organised by Town and Distict Cultured Center attract many visitors who wish to learn about the Choroszcz past and present times.
